We were lucky to get a parking space right in front. The restaurant exterior looks inviting and cosy enough. Didn't waited long to be seated but then waitress didn't come over to attend to us, we have to chase her around to get seated & the bad news is, they ran out of baby chair?!! When I glance through the whole restaurant, there was only another baby there on a baby chair and they ran out of baby chair? Does it means that they only have ONE baby chair available?

Verdict so far? Not a baby friendly restaurant!

Ok, back to the food. We were supposed to be getting:

  • Vegetables 蔬菜
  • Tofu 豆腐
  • Mushrooms 香菇
  • 金旦面

But this is what we get for 3 coupons, which is supposedly to be 3 portions:

Where is the abalone slices & homemade fish cake?

To make matter worst, the self-proclaimed Thai-Style Fish Pot is infact very sour & spicy BUT that's just the taste of it. SPICY & SOUR. FULLSTOP! Not a glimpse of saltiness, sweet or anything at all, it tasted like plain water added with lime juice & cili padi, can you imagine that? It does look "red" enough though...

The Soup

Tea Fried Rice 茶香炒饭 - RM8.90

Fried Dry Mee Hokkien Style - RM8.90

We also ordered Stir-Fried Black Pepper Udon Mee 干炒黑胡椒乌冬面 (RM16.90) but I totally lost interest in taking picture of the food because not only it doesn't looks attractive, it tasted yucky as well :(

And guess what? Despite paid for the coupons RM9.30 x 3 = RM27.90, the 3 extra dishes that we ordered + 3 cups chinese tea (RM2.00 per cup) + 1 can 100 Plus (RM2.50) = I still have to add RM45.31! So this dinner cost me RM73.21!!!

Honestly, if we were to just go to Q Garden Steamboat & BBQ @Paya Terubong for just RM19.90 per pax, we can all the tofu, scallops, fish maws + lotsa seafoods + drinks + desserts....the list is endless and that will only cost us RM59.70 with a whooping full tummy to bring back home. Before this dinner end, we were already thinking of where to go next to fill our poor grumbling tummy :(

Final Verdict: Give me free also I won't go the next time lorrrr...
